As co-founder and CEO of The Tor Project, Andrew met the challenge of bringing military research to hundreds of millions of people worldwide. At Norse Federal, he served as Senior Vice President of Engineering, leading a number of large projects, both classified and unclassified. As a very early employee, Vice President of Technology and CTO, at TechTarget, Andrew pioneered the development of hyper-scale architectures and systems, becoming an early adopter of cloud technologies to meet customer demand. Andrew has extensive global media experience, appearing on TV, radio shows, and giving keynote speeches. He has also been featured in hundreds of written interviews.
Andrew provides strategic advice to the US and its Allies, having worked on programs including SAFER Warfighter, MEMEX, SHARKSEER, CRISP, and Interpol's Crimes Against Children Initiative. His articles on digital investigations have been published by Elsevier, EMCDDA, and Fordham University Press. As Treasurer of Emerge, Andrew is helping to break the cycle of domestic violence through counseling abusers. As Chairman of Each One Teach One, he's giving women and girls economic opportunities through technology education.
